We are excited to bring in two special guests who understand our area and know what it takes to be successful in gardening! Ryan Odenbach is an agricultural and natural resources extension agent with NDSU based here in McKenzie County and Tom Kalb is a PhD NDSU Extension Horticulturist / Plant Sciences Specialist who is based in Bismarck. They will help you to choose the right garden spot and learn about soil health and what it takes to grow a successful garden in North Dakota! Come and take advantage of this free event and plant your first or best garden this year!
Who is it for? Do you need community? Are you up for learning an old fashion skill? Then this series is for you! While the classes are geared toward adults, tweens who want to learn are welcome to come with their parents!
Supplies needed: Will vary with each class. We are a nonprofit so while we won’t charge for the classes, we will happily accept your donations!
A light snack will be served. Please come ready to learn! Let’s join together as a community and reconnect with the old fashioned life the first Friday of every month!
